Aerial views of the Las Vegas Strip on Friday, March 27, 2015, including the Rock in Rio USA site, MGM Arena behind New York-New York and Monte Carlo and Pawn Mall.

Workers putting the finishing touches on the 20,000-seat T-Mobile Arena on the Strip installed the first seats today.

“Only 19,997 more to go,” said a post from the arena’s Twitter account.

Construction of the $375 million arena, a partnership between MGM Resorts International and AEG, is slated to wrap up soon.

The arena’s launch is scheduled for April 6 with performances by local rockers The Killers and Las Vegas icon Wayne Newton.

Two days later, newly re-formed Guns N’ Roses will play the first of two sold-out shows.

T-Mobile Arena could also be the home of a National Hockey League team team being pursued by potential team owner Bill Foley.
