FLINTSTONE, Md. — Golden Entertainment Inc. says it has completed an expansion of gambling opportunities and parking spaces at the Rocky Gap Casino Resort near Cumberland.
The Las Vegas-based company said in a statement Tuesday it has added 54 slot machines, for a total of 631. More than 20 of the machines are in a new, outdoor smoking terrace.
The resort has added 168 parking spaces to alleviate shortages during weekends and special events.
Other new amenities include an expanded area for table games, outdoor fire pits, an outdoor volleyball court and an outdoor bocce ball court.
The additional slot machines were approved last year by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Commission.
The company also says it's remodeling some of its hotel rooms and suites.
