A man hit and killed Tuesday while crossing Boulder Highway has been identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as Pete Gorniak, 43, of Henderson. His death was ruled an accident.
Gorniak was hit by a pickup truck about 11:15 p.m. as he was crossing Boulder Highway at King Street outside a marked crosswalk, Henderson Police said. He died at the scene.
The pickup driver and a passenger were not injured, police said. Drugs, alcohol and speed were not factors in the crash, police said.
The road was closed for about three hours.
