Authorities have identified a 61-year-old woman who was fatally shot at a Henderson home where a man called 911, said he killed his wife, and waited for police to arrive.
The Clark County coroner said Tuesday that Paulette King died of a gunshot to the head, and the case is a homicide.
Henderson police say 64-year-old Dennis Kopp stood outside until police arrived Sunday evening at a home in the Green Valley area. He's expected to face a murder charge.
Police had said his wife was 62.
Authorities say she was pronounced dead at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas.
Police say they found a handgun inside the home that investigators believe was used in the shooting.
