Henderson Police say they are searching for a man who acted like he was buying beer and cigarettes before pulling a gun Monday night and robbing a 7-Eleven convenience store.
The stickup was reported about 11:30 p.m. at the store at 1453 N. Boulder Highway, south of Sunset Road.
The man entered the store, took beer from a refrigerator and approached the clerk to ask for cigarettes, police said. When the clerk turned around, he brandished a gun and fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
Police said the suspect was 25 to 30 years old, about 6 feet tall and 140 to 160 pounds. He wore a black Air Jordan hat, black T-shirt, green camouflage shorts and black Nike shoes.
