Metro Police continue to seek three people who robbed a convenience store Tuesday night and got away from officers after a brief car chase, according to officials.

Officers were called about 10:15 p.m. to the Sinclair convenience store, 3280 S. Decatur Blvd., Lt. David Gordon said.

On Wednesday, police released surveillance video of the robbers.

Three males entered the store, one of them firing a round into the air, Gordon said. The robbers ordered customers to the floor and told the clerk to hand over cash from the register, he said.

The robbers fled in a stolen vehicle, which officers later spotted on Jones Boulevard, north of U.S. 95, and tried without success to stop, Gordon said.

The driver abandoned the vehicle at U.S. 95 and Summerlin Parkway and ran away, Gordon said. It wasn’t clear if the two other suspects were in the vehicle when it was abandoned, he said.

Officers, assisted by a helicopter and K-9 units, set up a perimeter but weren’t able to locate the suspects, Gordon said.

Metro described the suspects as three Hispanic males.

One of them stands between 5-foot-11 and 6-feet tall. He wore a white T-shirt, gray shorts and wore a black and white ball cap, while covering his face with a blue bandanna.

The second suspect stands between 5-foot-3 and 5-foot-6. He wore a black T-shirt and black pants.

The third suspect is thin built and stands between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-6. He covered his face with a blue bandanna and wore a gray sweatshirt and tan shorts.
