Authorities are searching for an inmate who walked away from a work assignment near U.S. 95 and Valley View Boulevard Friday afternoon, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.

Juwan Stuart, 36, was working with the Nevada Department of Forestry about 12:30 p.m. when he left his work station, NDOC said.

Authorities described Stuart as a black man who stands 5-feet-1 inches and weighs about 200 pounds, NDOC said. He has brown eyes and black hair. He wore a white T-shirt with a blue button-down shirt, blue jeans and black boots.
