The National Weather Service issued a flash-flood watch through Saturday evening as storms passed through the Las Vegas Valley.

The valley is enshrouded in a mix of smog and clouds, and the Clark County Department of Air Quality placed the valley under a dust advisory Saturday. It recommends limiting outdoor exercising and keeping doors and windows closed while using the air conditioner.

Saturday's temperature peaked at 109 degrees, the Weather Service said, breaking a nine-day streak of high temperatures above 110 degrees. Sunday's high is expected to be 105.
