Firefighters put out a garage fire in the east valley before it spread to a house this morning, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue officials said.
The fire was reported about 10 a.m. in the 1400 block of Stevens Street, near Owens Avenue and Pecos Road.
Crews extinguished the fire in the detached garage behind the house by about 10:20 a.m., according to the fire department’s Twitter account.
Two people were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, fire department spokesman Tim Szymanski said.
