Metro Police say they are investigating a double shooting in the 5600 block of Boulder Highway, near Tropicana Avenue.
Police responded about 10 a.m. to reports of the shooting, and officers found two victims suffering apparent gunshot wounds, officials said.
One person was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, police said. The status of the second victim was not known.
The Sportsman's Royal Manor apartment complex was cordoned off by police tape, and dozens of police cars flooded the neighborhood.
