Two teens wanted in the fatal shooting of two people after an altercation earlier this month in the central valley have been arrested, according to Metro Police.

Anthony Martinez, 18, and Ocean Camacho, 19, were booked Wednesday at the Clark County Detention Center on two counts of first-degree murder, among other counts, police said.

The shooting happened about 2 p.m. on June 1 near Mezpah Street and West Washington Avenue, police said. Two people were taken to University Medical Center, where they later died, police said.

Joshua Nunez, 17, and Humberto Manuel Ocegueda-Ramos, 19, of Las Vegas died from gunshot wounds to the head, the Clark County Coroner’s Office said.

Nunez and Ocegueda-Ramos were involved in a confrontation with the suspects at a convenience store near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Owens Avenue, police said. Nunez and Ocegueda-Ramos left in an SUV, but the suspects followed them to the area Mezpah Street and Washington Avenue and shot at their vehicle, police said.

The incident appeared to be narcotics related, police said.
