Henderson Police officers and investigators confer after a shooting near the Black Mountain Grill in Henderson Monday, June 27, 2016.

Henderson Police have arrested a pair of suspects in a shooting late Monday that wounded two people — one critically — outside a restaurant on Eastern Avenue.

Henderson spokeswoman Michelle French said the suspects were in custody as of 8 p.m. Tuesday but didn't elaborate on their identities or the circumstances that led to the arrests.

Officers responded about 7:35 p.m. Monday to reports of gunfire in the parking lot between a Wendy's restaurant and the Black Mountain Grill, 11021 S. Eastern Ave. at Sunridge Heights Parkway.

Police said four people walking out of the Wendy's got into an argument with the two suspects, who opened fire on the group, striking two members of the group.

The male victims were taken to Sunrise Hospital, one in extremely critical condition and the other with a minor gunshot wound to the thigh.

The suspects fled the parking lot.
