2 arrested in fatal shooting outside southeast valley convenience store

Two men connected to a fatal shooting Friday night at a southeast valley convenience store parking lot have been arrested, according to Metro Police.

Oscar Gomez, 20, and Gustavo Delacruz-Cortez, 25, were arrested on Wednesday and booked at the Clark County Detention Center, police said.

Gomez was booked on one count of murder with a deadly weapon, and Delacruz-Cortez on one count of hiding a felony offender, police said.

Officers responded about 9:30 p.m. to the 5100 block of East Tropicana Avenue near South Nellis Boulevard where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said. He later died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.

The man was shot during an argument with two men, police said Saturday.
