Nevada Highway Patrol respond to a paint spill on the 215 Beltway.

The 215 Beltway was reduced to two lanes traveling eastbound this morning after a paint spill on the highway, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

A Home Depot work truck was driving eastbound just after 9 a.m. when several five-gallon buckets of white paint spilled out of the back of the truck, according to police.

The spill happened just before the on-ramp to Interstate-15, but police said cars were still able to get onto the ramp.

Highway Patrol tweeted traffic was backed up to Decatur Boulevard while the spill was being cleaned up.
