Shooting
A woman was found dead in the street Tuesday night after reports of gunshots in a neighborhood near Jones Boulevard and Smoke Ranch Road, according to Metro Police.
Officers were dispatched about 11:35 p.m. to the 5800 block of Delabarre Place to investigate multiple reports of gunshots and a person in the street, police said. They found a woman dead from an apparent gunshot wound, police said.
A dark-colored sport utility vehicle was seen speeding away about the time the shots were reported, police said.
Police said they have not identified a suspect or a motive for the shooting. The victim’s name will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
