A fire broke out at an abandoned apartment building this morning near Las Vegas Boulevard and Agate Avenue, according to the Clark County Fire Department.
Firefighters attacked the blaze from outside the single-story building and then went inside to finish putting it out, officials said. The fire, which extended into the attic, was confined to a single unit, officials said.
Nobody was injured in the fire, which was reported about 5:30 a.m. A damage estimate was not available.
The fire was under investigation.
