CARSON CITY — The state Public Utilities Commission approved the application of Boulder Solar Power to build an 11.3-mile temporary water pipeline in Boulder City.
The water will be used for dust control in the construction of a solar plant that will produce 100 megawatts of electricity. The company’s application says it has a 20-year agreement with NV Energy to buy the power.
