PAHRUMP — Two people were wounded and sheriff's deputies in Nye County are looking for their assailant after gunfire erupted at a weekend wedding reception in rural Pahrump.
Sheriff's Sgt. David Boruchowitz says one person was shot in the face and another was wounded in the foot in the shooting a little before midnight Saturday. Both were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The identity of the shooter and a description weren't immediately made public.
Boruchowitz says the suspect is expected to face attempted murder, battery with a weapon, firearms and endangerment charges.
