A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in the stabbing death of a man during a fight last month outside a McDonald’s restaurant near Spring Mountain Road and South Durango Drive, according to Metro Police.

Jason Carlton was arrested Wednesday and taken to the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center before he was transferred Sunday to the adult jail, police said. He faces counts of murder, robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, police said.

Clinton Englehart, 27, was stabbed in the chest about 8 p.m. April 17 during a fight with two people near the entrance of the restaurant in the 8600 block of Spring Mountain Road, police said.

Englehart was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The suspects, meanwhile, ran across the street to Desert Breeze Park, where officers found a large knife, police said. Police said they detained two people at the park, but nobody was arrested at the time.
