Henderson Police arrested a distraught man Monday evening who had entered an ITT Technical Institute building and disrupted a class.

Officers responded to a call at 9:37 p.m. of a man possibly armed with a crowbar or machete and acting erratically at the Green Valley Corporate Center, near the 215 Beltway and Green Valley Parkway, said Henderson Police spokeswoman Michelle French. Upon seeing police, the man darted into the ITT campus building.

One classroom was evacuated, French said.

The man was taken into custody without incident at about 10:40 p.m., and no one was injured.

No other details of the incident were immediately available.
