Metro Police released surveillance photos of a man they said robbed the Hooters casino sports book Monday.

The armed robber was described as a black man possibly in his 30s who stands about 6-feet-1-inch tall, police said. He wore a black ball cap, pink shirt and blue jeans.

Officers were called to the casino, which is just off the Strip, 115 E. Tropicana Ave, about 6 p.m., police said.

No shots were fired, no one was injured and the robber fled on foot, police said.

A spokesman for William Hill Race & Sports Book, which operates at Hooters, could not be reached for comment.
