Men who robbed Las Vegas convenience store used Uzi, police say

Two men connected to an armed robbery, in which one of them threatened a clerk with an Uzi machine gun, are being sought by Metro Police.

Police were called about 2:30 a.m. on May 14 to a Speedee Mart, 4701 W. Lake Mead Blvd., near North Decatur Boulevard.

One man stood by the door while the other man, who brandished the Uzi, robbed the store and took an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The armed robber was described as having light skin and being in his late teens or early 20s, police said. He is of short stature and thin build, and wore a red hooded sweatshirt, dark undershirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

The man who stood by the door was also described as having light skin and being in his late teens or early 20s, police said. He stands about 6-feet tall and weighs about 160 pounds and wore a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white shoes.
