Five homes under construction in Henderson were damaged in a fire Monday morning.
According to Henderson Fire Department Public Information Officer Kathleen Richards, firefighters responded about 8:15 a.m. to a residential fire on Taylor Springs Court, near Warm Springs and Gibson roads.
Crews found smoke and flames coming from a two-story home that was under construction and extending to an adjacent two-story home also under construction, a news release from the department said.
The fire caused damage to three additional homes under construction. Total loss is estimated at $200,000.
All the houses were unoccupied, and there were no injuries, the news release said.
A fire investigator determined the cause to be accidental.
