UFC fighter Ronda Rousey responds to Donald Trump hit

Ronda Rousey has always been in select company based on her success in the UFC.

Now the former champion is in an even more exclusive club as someone or something criticized by Donald Trump.

On a taped episode of "The Ellen Show" that aired Tuesday, Rousey discussed a recent feature in The New York Times listing all the people, places and things insulted by the Republican presidential candidate since he announced his candidacy.

Rousey was appearing on the talk show to promote her UFC 207 fight against new women's bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes on Dec. 30 in Las Vegas.

As host Ellen DeGeneres held up the two-page spread, which came out Oct. 24, Rousey cracked: "I heard I made a very prestigious list."

Among the 281 items displayed was a brief tweet about Rousey that read: "not a nice person!

With the audience laughing, Rousey smiled and shrugged her shoulders as DeGeneres asked what happened.

"I don't know exactly. I think he said I was gonna vote for him. It was news to me," Rousey said. "And I just said, 'I'm not voting for a reality TV star to be president.' It's just all I said, so that makes me not a nice person.

"Those two things are related, it's like connected to each other.”

DeGeneres laughed and congratulated Rousey, who said she was going to frame it.

"I put my belts in like an ottoman. I put my feet on them," Rousey said. "But that's gonna be on the wall."
