Man accused in fatal shooting of woman in North Las Vegas

North Las Vegas Police arrested a suspect in connection the murder of a 47-year-old woman.

Detectives said they've arrested 63-year-old Randal McCray, who allegedly had a relationship with the victim. He is being held on suspicion of murder with a deadly weapon.

Police responded to a call of a shooting around 6 p.m. Tuesday and found Kayota Washington suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. She was declared dead at the scene.
