Police: Houses hit by gunfire in random shooting

Houses were hit by gunfire in a random shooting Monday night in the central valley, according to Metro Police.

Officers received reports of shots fired at 11:55 p.m. near J Street and Washington Avenue, police said.

At least two houses were hit by bullets, police said. Officers found shell casings on the street, but no suspects have been identified, police said.
