New Hillary Clinton ad makes pitch to Hispanic voters

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is targeting Hispanic voters in Nevada with a new Spanish-language television and digital ad.

The ad, called “Verdadera Fuerza” or “Real Strength,” seeks to contrast what Clinton and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump would do for the Hispanic community. The 30-second spot, released today, will also air in Florida.

The narrator in the ad highlights Clinton’s work with kids, defending children with disabilities and securing health care for 8 million children. The ad also features a clip of Trump saying that Mexican immigrants are “bringing crime, they’re rapists.”

The end of the ad encourages viewers to register to vote, directing them to a Spanish-language voter registration website.

Trump’s campaign announced its first ad buy of the general election in Nevada last week.
