The Durango High football team won its first home game since 2012 tonight, using a pair Kaden Renshaw touchdown runs to down Del Sol, 46-16.

Durango entered the season on a 16-game losing streak but has won its initial two games by the mercy rule of a running clock.

“This has been fun,” Durango coach Matt Gerber said. “The kids are buying in. They believe in each other. It’s fun to be around.”

Allen Martin had a 75-yard touchdown run and Justise Stroy had a 35-yard interception return for a score. Boogie Kamara had 108 rushing yards and 74 receiving yards.
