Regarding the editorial "Light rail key to ensuring visitors enjoy Las Vegas — and come back” (Las Vegas Sun, Aug. 25):
Thank goodness someone is addressing the light rail issue in common-sense terms!
Moving here from the Bay Area, it’s hard to believe Las Vegas is so behind on mass transit, beginning at the airport.
If we want to bring the masses in, we need to put on our “big pants” and make this happen. Stop postponing a mass transit solution or we will be left behind cities such as Phoenix, Denver and Orlando.
It’s embarrassing that in a world-class entertainment city our guests have to wait in lines just to get transportation to our casinos to start spending their money.
