Abandoned complex near Maryland Parkway burns; no one hurt

More than 30 firefighters responded Saturday to a blaze at an abandoned complex near Maryland Parkway and Desert Inn Road, according to the Clark County Fire Department.

Crews were called about 6:20 p.m. to the 1400 block of Silver Mesa Circle and put out the flames at the two-story fourplex in less than five minutes, fire officials said.

No one was hurt, and information about cause or extent of the damage wasn't immediately available.
