A vehicle caught fire today near the Las Vegas airport, sending a dark plume of smoke into the sky that could be seen across the valley.
No one was injured, authorities said.
The Clark County Fire Department responded about 12:15 p.m. to the blaze at Sunset Road and Bruce Street, Chief Jeff Buchanan said. The fire was out within about 15 minutes, he said.
