CARSON CITY — A 46-year-old prison inmate from Las Vegas died at a hospital Saturday, the state Department of Corrections reported today.
Michael N. Sears was serving a term of four to 10 years for attempted lewdness with a minor under 14 in Las Vegas, officials said.
He had been in the infirmary at High Desert State Prison and was transferred to Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he died, officials said.
An autopsy will be conducted, officials said.
