Girl, 17, killed in overnight crash; driver sought

North Las Vegas Police say they are looking for two males who fled after a single-vehicle crash early today that killed a 17-year-old girl and injured two other people.

The crash was reported about 1 a.m. at Cheyenne Avenue and Clayton Street, Officer Aaron Patty said. A white pickup truck was eastbound on Cheyenne when it veered off the road and overturned, he said.

The girl died at University Medical Center, Patty said. Two other people were taken to UMC with injuries that did not appear life threatening, he said.

One of the males who fled the scene is believed to be the driver, police said.
