After watching a recent “60 Minutes” story, it should be crystal clear about the abuse animals suffer to entertain people.
The curtain has now been pulled back for people to see the reality of how these animals are “trained” and handled. The end is in sight for the circus world, as well it should be. It is the people buying the tickets who have kept the show on the road.
I have faith that many people who saw this informative piece will no longer support the circus.
Many thanks to the animal group profiled on the program, Animal Defenders International, for rescuing and saving these abused animals. It’s time to retire them and give them some sort of peace, as they have more than earned that.
