Letters to the Editor:

A matter of health

The religious rights of a corporation should not be placed above my health and well being.

For many women, access to contraceptives is a matter of life or death. For others, like myself, access to contraceptives meant that I could manage a chronic condition before deciding to become pregnant.

I now have a healthy baby and I know I can take care of her and not have to worry about becoming pregnant again until I choose to do so.

This is an option that should be available to every woman in the state of Nevada regardless of her income status or place of employment. Our health and that of our families is too important to allow our employers to decide what we have access to.
