Liberty’s Kenyon Oblad threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to Terris Hamilton on the game’s first play tonight to help the Patriots beat Eldorado 49-0 in the Sunrise Regional quarterfinals.

Liberty, the seven-time defending Sunrise Regional champion, grew its lead to 21-0 just six minutes into the game on an interception return for a touchdown from Octavian Bell.

Cervontes White and Lehi Ausage added touchdown receptions from Oblad, who passed for nearly 200 yards and three touchdowns in limited work. Kishon Pitts added a touchdown run.

Liberty (9-1) will host Foothill next Thursday in the Sunrise Regional semifinals.

“I like where we are at,” Liberty coach Rich Muraco said. “I like the attitude of the kids and how they are working hard in practice. The next few weeks will be the real deal now.”
