Chaparral senior running back Tyray Collins continued his spectacular season Saturday night, scoring three touchdowns to help the Cowboys to a 63-0 win over Rancho.

Collins rushed for 69 yards and a pair of scores on only three carries, and ran a punt return 68 yards for another score as Chaparral shutout the Rams.

The Cowboys jumped out to a 42-0 halftime lead thanks to two interceptions run back for touchdowns by Tre Roberts. Sheik Fofanah also ran for 83 yards and a touchdown for Chaparral.

Chaparral moves to 4-1 on the season with its only loss coming to Foothill from the upper 4A classification. The Cowboys host Desert Oasis on Thursday to wrap up non-league play before diving into 3A Sunrise action.
