Suspect sought in southwest valley armed robberies

This man is wanted in a string of southwest valley robberies.

A man suspected in three armed robberies in the southwest valley is being sought by Metro Police, who today released surveillance images of him.

On Friday and Saturday, the suspect entered the businesses and demanded cash as he pointed a gun at employees, police said. No one’s been injured.

One of the robberies occurred about 11:30 a.m. Friday on Fort Apache Road, near Patrick Lane, according to Metro dispatch logs.

The thin suspect, a man with a light complexion and a thin mustache, stands about 5 feet, 10 inches, and weighs between 150 and 160 pounds, police said. He wore a dark gray hooded sweatshirt with white strings, dark pants and dark shoes.
