CARSON CITY — The Nevada Department of Corrections says it has received a $999,000 federal grant to continue a program aimed at preventing inmates from returning to prison after they are released.
The program includes training for work skills, drug treatment and other services.
The grant comes from the U.S. Department of Justice.
