Henderson teens arrested in videotaped killing of baby duck

Henderson Police say they arrested three teens this morning in the killing of a duckling that was captured on video.

Police received reports May 3 about a video circulating on the internet showing a duckling being killed with a rock, officials said. One of the teens took the duckling from a Henderson park, officials said.

Detectives watched the video, which led them to three high school students, officials said. The suspects, all 16-year-olds from Henderson, were taken to Clark County Juvenile Detention Center on misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty and removing migratory birds, police said.

The names of the teens were not released.
