The Backstreet Boys perform at KLUC’s SPF summer concert at the Cosmopolitan Saturday.

Dear music lover: Las Vegas has everything you could ever want or need this weekend, and these concert events don’t have anything to do with the Electric Daisy Carnival happening all weekend long at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. From classic pop and Motown sounds to classical music to guilty-pleasure ’80s rock, it’s all waiting for you.

PAUL ANKA The legendary singer and songwriter kicks off five performances at Wynn’s Encore Theater with two shows this weekend. Anka will be singing his own hits like “Diana” and “Put Your Head On My Shoulder” as well as songs written for other artists like “She’s A Lady” and “My Way.” May 18-19, info at wynnlasvegas.com.

LAS VEGAS PHILHARMONIC SEASON FINALE The Phil wraps it up Saturday at the Smith Center’s Reynolds Hall with conductor Donato Cabrera delivers pieces by Leonard Bernstein, Ludwig van Beethoven and Sergei Prokofiev. Featured soloist Danae Dörken also contributes thanks to the American German Cultural Exchange Fellowship. And mark your calendar for September 15, opening night of the Philharmonic’s 2018-2019 season. May 19, info at lvphil.org.

KLUC’S SPF WITH THE BACKSTREET BOYS The beloved boy band and Zappos Theater residents headline this annual summer pop music concert presented by 98.5 FM KLUC. The Cosmopolitan’s rooftop Boulevard Pool is the place to catch BSB with help from current hitmakers Bebe Rexha, Dua Lipa and Echosmith. May 19, info at cosmopolitanlasvegas.com.

POISON & CHEAP TRICK Favorite 1980s hair-metal band Poison has reassembled its original lineup — singer Bret Michaels, guitarist C.C. DeVille, drummer Rikki Rockett and bassist Bobby Dall — and is ready to bring the rock nostalgia to the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel Saturday night. Show up on time to catch rock and power-pop hitmakers Cheap Trick. May 19, info at hardrockhotel.com.

THE TEMPTATIONS It’s not just your imagination: Still led by original member Otis Williams, the Temps bring all the hits to the Orleans Showroom for Saturday and Sunday performances. May 19-20, info at orleanscasino.com.
