Metro Police: Road rage leads to shooting, stabbing

Metro Police say a person was stabbed following a confrontation due to road rage in west Las Vegas.

Police say a person was sent to a hospital after officers responded to reports of a shooting Wednesday night.

Police say road rage led two people to enter a confrontation at the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Fort Apache Road.

Police say one person fired gunshots and was stabbed. The injuries were not life threatening.

Police say both people are in custody. No one was injured by the gunfire. Police have not identified the people involved.
