The rates paid by consumers for cable television have risen as a result of lack of consumer options. On top of the rapid increases in prices is the lack of customized options such as a la carte.
A la carte services would allow customers to pick their channels so unwanted ones weren’t included. Subscription channels such as specific sports options should be available as well.
Cable prices should be lowered with customized channel packages so customers get their money’s worth.
