North Las Vegas Police say they have arrested a suspect in the shooting deaths of a mother and her two adult children over the weekend.

Jose Easley Jr., 41, was taken into custody Wednesday night and booked at the Las Vegas City Jail on three counts of murder and one count each of attempted murder, battery, assault, being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, police said.

Officers were dispatched about 8:40 p.m. Sunday to Lake Mead Boulevard and Simmons Street, where they found three people dead in a parking lot with gunshot wounds, police said.

Officers later learned a fourth shooting victim, a 26-year-old man, was at University Medical Center in Las Vegas with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.

Two men and two women were in the parking lot when they got into an argument with another person, police said. The suspect allegedly shot all four people before fleeing the scene, police said.

The Clark County Coroner's Office identified those killed as Susan Nash, 52, and her children Deonte' Nash, 31, and Dejona'e Nash, 20.

At the time, police said they didn't believe the shooting was a random act of violence.
