Man, 22, killed in North Las Vegas shooting

A fight escalated into a shooting that left a 22-year-old man dead Monday night in North Las Vegas, according to police.

The shooting took place about 7 p.m. in the 400 block of East Lake Mead Boulevard, near Lamb Boulevard, North Las Vegas Police said.

The male gunman fled the scene, and a motive had not been determined as of this afternoon, police said. It was not, however, a random act, police said.
