Metro Police say they have arrested a suspect in a random attack on a 77-year-old disabled man last week outside a grocery store.
The suspect, Alex Solomon, 32, was taken into custody without incident Thursday in the 5400 block of Maryland Parkway, police said.
Solomon was booked at the Clark County Detention Center on a count of abuse on a vulnerable person, police said.
On July 30, the victim was walking into the grocery store in the 1300 block of East Flamingo Road when a man punched him in the head without provocation, police said.
Police did not detail the extent of his injuries.
The suspect walked away before officers arrived, police said.
Metro released a surveillance photo of the suspect, but they did not indicate how they identified Solomon.
