    North Carolina basketball coach Roy Williams was treated to a show. Bishop Gorman High junior shooting guard Shabazz Muhammad poured in 28 points Monday night, leading the Gaels to an 86-56 victory against host Desert Oasis and putting on an offensive explosion with Williams sitting courtside at the Southwest Las Vegas school.

    If the Desert Oasis High School boys basketball team was nervous before its first game of the season, it sure didn’t show. After junior Kenny Lewis’ quick bucket against Basic High School to open Wednesday’s game, the Diamondbacks turned their 14-5 opening quarter into a 56-44 win over the host Wolves.
