- UNLV’s head football coach will resign effective Monday, but he will lead Saturday’s Fremont Cannon game against visiting UNR. Bobby Hauck lasted five years at UNLV. He led the program last season to a 7-6 record and its first bowl berth in more than a decade but couldn’t consistently produce a winner. He received a contract extension after last season’s bowl appearance and had two years left on his deal. He will receive a one-time payment of $400,000, according to UNLV’s statement.
