UNLV was picked to finish last in its division while sophomore receiver Devonte Boyd was the lone Rebel on the preseason All-Mountain West team, it was announced this morning at the league’s media days at the Cosmopolitan.

UNLV’s first-ever game against Michigan will air on the Big Ten Network and kick off at 9 a.m. Las Vegas time, it was announced today. The Rebels are playing at the Big House on Saturday, Sept. 19 in a battle of two first-year Division I coaches with disparate previous experience.

Pair of Rebels named to Phil Steele’s All-Mountain West first team

Two Rebels were named to Phil Steele’s 2015 Preseason All-Mountain West first team, it was announced today. Sophomore receiver Devonte Boyd and senior safety Peni Vea received the honor, with junior running back Keith Whitely and junior Tau Lotulelei named to the fourth team.
