UNLV sophomore guard Justin Hawkins is a central figure in a new book, Play Their Hearts Out, written by George Dohrmann. In the book, Hawkins enjoys one of the happier endings among a group of young basketball prospects in California who are exposed to the sometimes ugly underbelly of the grassroots basketball world.
